Employee engagement is the art of creating an environment at the workplace that compels employees to remain indebted to the enterprise and results in motivating them to greater efforts and increased efficiency.
There is a general saying in India which literally translated means “Proffering a hand for a hand”; the connotation is that if you help me, I will help you. A similar rationality does apply to an employer-employee relation though mutual exploitation and mistrust rules the industries.
But, employers and employees are growing wiser and adapting to each other’s needs for the benefit of both, creating a win-win situation.

The employer needs to convey exactly what he expects from the employee while ensuring that the needs of the employee are met adequately,
BETTER PERKS AND REWARDS:
Offering higher rewards as compensation is an age-old way of enticing the employees and prevent higher attrition rate,
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT FRUITS:
Fair and rewarding policies along with accountability for better results in the employee make them:
DEVELOP APPRECIATION
a. A. for their role and its goals through proper supervision and counseling,
b. Make more efforts to hold on to the advantages this job provides,
c. Feel a stronger connection with their enterprise and responsibility for achieving higher results.
Thus, the process of employee engagement ensures higher productivity and enhanced returns from your enterprise.
